Once upon a time, when I was just 14, I was deeply immersed in the world of web design, flash animations, and ActionScript. During that time, I created countless websites—discussion boards, blogs, portal pages, flash sites, and more. I’m not talking about just a handful; I’m talking about hundreds of them! In fact, I’ve made so many that I can’t even remember most of them.
Today, I realized that I’ve never shared the story of my web design journey. Since this blog is about me, it feels fitting to include this part of my life, even if just to capture as much of my experiences as possible.
One of the projects I worked on was for YILDIRIM Engineering Company, a vendor of Viessmann, specializing in heating and air conditioning systems. I designed their website, which you can check out here: www.yildirimmuhendislik.com.
Another memorable project was a website I created at 15 using 3ds Max and Flash. It was designed for my classroom and featured a 3D model of a classroom. The site began at the door, and the navigation menus and pages were displayed on the blackboard. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the SWF file of that site, but I’ll be sure to share it here as soon as I do.
Lastly, there’s an upcoming project still under construction. You can check its progress at www.sancakmuhendislik.com.
This journey into web design was an exciting chapter in my life, and I’m glad to finally share it here.
